Atlanta, Ga.-Today my photography class went on a field-trip to the Southeastern Railway Museum.  It’s a really interesting place to visit; it’s like taking a step back in time.  The museum has trains indoors and outdoors for you to walk around in.  They welcome photographers too, so that makes it even better!  I was only supposed to be there for one hour, but time slipped away from me, and before I knew it, I had been there over 2 hours.  Here are some of my favorite shots from the day:

Atlanta, Ga.-I recently started a photography class to help me sharpen my technical skills.  The class goes for six weeks, and each week, there will be at least one assignment.  I plan on posting the images that I’m going to use for each assignment for you to see and possibly vote on.  In this case I can’t decide which two images to turn in for critique.

Assignment:

Pick 1 word from the list of words and interpret it visually (2 images total)

or

Pick 2 words from the list of words and interpret it visually (2 images total)

Atlanta, Ga.-This weekend I had a past client come back into my life.  This time there was a new addition.  A beautiful New Years baby had arrived and this joyous occasion had to be captured.  I had such a fun time working with Caitlin’s mom, Angela, when we did a trash the dress shoot as an anniversary present to her sweet hubby.  When I found out that Caitlin had arrived, I couldn’t wait to meet her and photograph the lovely moments that come with first time parenthood.  Here are some of my faves from this newborn photo session (you can check more out in the Kids gallery):
